Last British Ride

The last adventure of the UK - a mountain bike day (supposed to be 2 - british weather saw to that) was had. And it was a cracker - Wales - Bwlch Nant y Arian or something. Best mountain bike trail yet. The day befores 160km / hour winds made sure there were a few extra obstacles on the path and the road.

Peace and tranquility after the storm - a llyn (lake) surrounded by hills and forests.

Where has the road gone? That mass is the remains of one of the many downed trees - blocking the whole road.

Nick lands a big jump onto a tree... or not.
One of about 25 trees blown down directly onto the path. Glad we didn't come as planned yesterday.

Me, my lovely bike and the lovely view.

Coming out of the forest...

Windy fast forest trails... sweet.

Yes mum, we really do use GPS to navigate! Thats it there on the handle bars of Satan - Tims bike. Will be very handy on trans Canada next year.

Green!

You try finding your way through Wales with spelling like this. But come here if you like biking - only Turkey and the Blue Mountains come close.

Que lovely, the forests and rolling hills of coastal central Wales.
