The Lake District

To get away from the queenys little jubilee party, and worldcup fever, Tim and Nick head off to the Lake district for some, open space, no people kind of rancho relaxoness hiking and camping. We climbed Englands highest mountain (almost by accident) Scafell, which finishes off the trilogy of England Scotland (Ben Nevis) and Wales (Snowdon).

One of the locals.

Camping spot number 1. Sicle Tarn. Peace at last - except for the tents full of ramblers with english flags.

England is so god damn fluffy.

More tarns, more wet boots.

They really need some rolls of barb wire and some posts - don't they know how much easier that would be?

"Do you know the score in the worldcup?...."

Camping in the green fairy garden after being busted by the river by a national trust nazi.

The clouds descend on our high camp - cool.
