Welcome to our Travel Page. As all of you would be aware, we are about to head off on one of those "once-in-a-lifetime" holidays, riding our motorbikes around Europe & the UK.
It's out treat for becoming 'semi-centarians'.
To kick the diary off is a few pages of our practice run last October, where we travelled up the east coast of Australia, spending a few weeks sightseeing & catching up with friends & family.

Farewell UK

Our last full day in England and our return to Australia. Check out our diary entry for 9 July 08.

The obligatory black cab ride. They're a great machine, amazing turning circles, and huge inside. Apart from details, apparently they haven't changed much for decades in their basic shape and layout.

Damp but pleasantly warm London day, Tuesday 2/7. In the heart of the theatre district, having a late lunch. Good one too

About to take off from Heathrow.

At Melbourne airport on saturday morning, waiting for the boarding call for Mt Gambier. It was very very cold outside. Who cares, we were itching to complete the final leg and see our lovely family again
