The outdoor art show signboard in Wanaka...a thought provoking experience that, for a moment, inspired all of us to live more simply...perhaps in a cave eating only weeds and grass.
One of the many startling displays at the show-this one showing how global warming and rising seas affect communities with a bit more water frontage than ours.
Puzzling World in Wanaka. Jennifer thought it was an electrifying experience...
while Emily amused herself by climbing around in the toilets at the Roman Bath.
There is nothing quite like the anticipation that comes when one is offered the chance to feed live eels!
The technique is simple (if creepy.) Slather some dog food on a popsicle stick and hold it out. The eels slither out of the water (and all over you if you choose) and sort of suck it off the stick. Who needs a kitten when you can have a pet eel?!
Grafitti, New Zealand style.
We're enjoying ourselves immensely, really we are. We can't have a bit of sleet and gale force winds ruin our family outing to Mt. Arthur!
