Location: Heraklion, Greece

We had a half day tour today and then some free time in the afternoon. During that time Anna enjoyed watching Frances and Kathrine at the fish foot spa. A real highlight for many was the chance to explore on the last day in Greece, including the side streets. Great food features again and the girls are enjoying each others company at dinner as the girls share and get to know each other. Emma gave her highlight as learning from our guide in Crete, Effie. The visit to the Heraklion Archaeological Museum today was also special with the girls particularly noting the jewellery, sculpture and acrobats on the bull as having special meaning and significance. During the palace visit we learned that there were many flash features in the buildings, including the flushing toilet which is not what we associate with such old civilisations. We returned to our hotel this afternoon to find a plate of Easter treats in each of our rooms - candles and special baking which we are all enjoying.

(And my highlight for today was 3 successful geocaches - Katherine, Lauren and Maddy W might be new converts! There was one dnf but you can't have everything!)
