On the Friday after returning to Hobart, I bumped into Donna on the street. Those who know me well know who Donna is. We were very close until recently and were going to travel together. We spent 5 days of the next week together in her lovely studio apartment overlooking Mt Wellington. I wwent down to Dover, south of Hobart, for 3 days. I stayed at the Far South Backpackers - It's great scenery down there. I travelled by bus down there and cycled back.

On Sunday 22 January I left Hobart (and Donna again) to return to Brisbane for 3 days. It had been 41.7 degrees in Brisbane that day and as the YHA hostel was too hot I went to a cheap hotel for a couple of nights - airconditioned!

Tomorrow I fly to Lisbon, Portugal, via Singapore and Frankfurt to start my European trip. I'll post news and pics in about 10 days time.
