Hi all,

This morning we have been on a tour to the Royal Palace which was very interesting. Must say I've felt a lot better today since we got to see some sights from the comfort of the tour van and not have to negotiate the price of taxis and tuk tuks etc. The bartering does get a bit much.
It is of course stinking hot, so we are glad to be back in the hotel and will probably have a dip in the pool next.
Thinking of going on a river cruise tonight which includes dinner and a show. Tomorrow night we get aboard the overnight train down towards Koh Phagnan. We managed to get train tickets for this from a travel agent some dude called Tommy took us to, but think we paid a rather inflated price. Oh well, we're just glad we've got a seat.
Hoping to get to some markets tomorrow to do a bit of shopping. We did go to a massive department store yesterday and I just had to purchase some Diesel jeans for approx $28.00. Still not brave enough to do the full on bartering yet, but we're starting to figure it out.
